Our 8th Annual picnic for children and adults with heart defects is in the works!  It is going to be a great event with lots of activities for the kids and adults so bring the whole family.  Friends welcome.

We will provide:
* Lunch and drinks
* Music and activities
* Arts and Crafts
* Playground for little ones

You provide:
* $5 parking fee per vehicle (paid at park entrance)
* Optional donation of $10 per adult, $5 per child
* Blankets and/or lawn chairs (optional - picnic tables are provided.)
* Sand toys for children (optional)

8th ANNUAL HEART PICNIC
Information Sheet

SUNDAY, June 1st, 2008
(The Sunday after Memorial Day)
11am - 3pm
William Mason Park, Irvine
DIRECTIONS:
William R. Mason Regional Park is located in the city of Irvine at Culver and University Drive, near UCI.

From the 405:
To reach the park take the San Diego Freeway (405) to the Culver Avenue turnoff. Head south onto Culver Drive (if you are going south on the 405 - turn right, if you are going north on the 405, turn left onto Culver.)  Turn right onto University Drive, and make the firt left into the park.

From the 5 South:
Exit Culver Avenue and turn right.  You will go approximately 2 miles, you'll pass the 405 freeway, then turn right onto University Avenue (about 3 lights past the 405 freeway) then take the first left into the park.

Please be aware of the park Rules and Regulations:

- MINORS SHOULD BE UNDER DIRECT ADULT SUPERVISION AT ALL TIMES.
- Consumption of Intoxicants Prohibited.
- Park Only in Designated Areas.
- Dogs must be Restrained by a Leash at all times (6 foot maximum)
- Swimming or wading in creek or lake is prohibited. (No watercraft allowed)
